Events for children in Silesia: Katowice, Częstochowa, Gliwice and Nakło Śląskie, the places where shows for the youngest are held today.
The offer for the youngest in the calendar is narrow: it covers a handful of events in four towns of the voivodeship. That is why it helps to know where to look and what to do when nothing fits on the day you chose.
Events for children take place in Katowice, Częstochowa, Gliwice and Nakło Śląskie. Katowice and Częstochowa have two events each, Gliwice and Nakło Śląskie one each.
Katowice has its own page, For children: Katowice, while the other towns show events for children alongside others: Częstochowa and Gliwice. Every event of the region in one set is on For children.
The calendar lists five venues: Scena Gliwicka 120 in Katowice, the Akademickie Centrum Kultury - Klub Politechnik and the Hala Polonia in Częstochowa, the Centrum Kultury Śląskiej in Nakło Śląskie and the Dobry Zbeer venue in Gliwice. Each has a single date for children in the calendar.
Despite the name, Scena Gliwicka 120 is located in Katowice, and its calendar includes adults too. Częstochowa has two different places, a cultural centre and a sports hall, so a parent should check which of them hosts a given date. The Centrum Kultury Śląskiej in Nakło Śląskie lies in the northern part of the voivodeship, and Dobry Zbeer in Gliwice is a place that appears more often in the cabaret calendar than among family events.
When there is no children's event on your chosen day, check the related kinds: theatre, cinema and music. Some plays, screenings and concerts are meant for younger viewers, although they are not always listed separately in the calendar.
It is also worth browsing the page of the town where you live, for example Katowice, Bytom or Świerklaniec. The event description and the information about the ticket seller will tell you whether the programme suits your child's age.
Pick the date and the town in the calendar and then the children's category. On each event card a ticket link leads to the seller, who takes the order.

To Scena Gliwicka 120, which has one event for children in the calendar. The other events of the town are gathered on the page For children: Katowice.
The event description and the information from the ticket seller are the best source. If neither gives the viewer's age, it is better to ask the organiser before buying.
Check theatre, cinema and music, because among plays, screenings and concerts there are sometimes programmes for younger viewers. Browsing the page of your own town helps too.
