A historic manor house from 1725 in Dąbrowa Zielona municipality, with an Arian chapel, a park and a 19th-century distillery.
The manor house in Cielętniki, in Dąbrowa Zielona municipality in Częstochowa County, is a historic manor entered in the heritage register. Protected together with it are a lamus (storehouse) from the 18th century and a 19th-century park.
The manor house was built in 1725 by the Bystrzanowski family of the Starykoń coat of arms. In the mid-18th century the estate belonged to the Torguł family, in the 19th century the Kołaczkowski family lived here, then the Lemański and Kobierzycki families. In 1928 Cielętniki was bought by Stefan Steinhagen, a paper industrialist from a concern with factories in Myszków, Włocławek and Pabianice. After the land reform the estate was taken over by a state farm, and the manor house housed offices, a post office, a library, a fire brigade and council flats.
It is a brick building on a rectangular plan, with a gable roof. The central facade is decorated with a small upper floor with a projection and a balcony supported on four pillars, and the rear elevation with a projection with columns and a triangular gable. Numerous rebuildings, the last in 1939, took away the building's stylistic features. The present private owners are carrying out a renovation intended to restore the character of the building.
A Baroque Arian chapel has survived, that is the former Polish Brethren meeting house, later a lamus, along with fragments of the park with a driveway and monumental trees, an orchard, a pond, farm buildings and a 19th-century distillery.
