The Church of St Barbara in Dąbrowa Górnicza is a brick church at Legionów Polskich 36. It was built by Protestants in 1882 and has served Catholics since 1945.
Construction was completed in 1882. After the Second World War, in 1945, the building was taken over by Catholics, and in 1957 its dedication was changed to St Barbara. In 1988 a side nave was added.
After 2000 the interior underwent a general renovation. In 2006 the wooden pulpit and high altar were replaced with marble ones, and a year later a marble font appeared. From June to December 2008 the façade and tower were renovated, and on 4 December 2008 the church was consecrated. The building is on the municipal register of monuments.
The church lies in the city centre. Right next door, about 100 m away, is the Sztygarka Municipal Museum, and less than a kilometre away stands the Basin Palace of Culture.
