A brick single-nave church from the early 14th century with a tower resembling a keep and Baroque and Rococo furnishings.
St Nicholas's Church in Niegowa is a brick parish church with a single nave, whose construction probably began in the early 14th century. The style combines Romanesque and Gothic features, and the building is listed in the heritage register.
The chancel is narrower than the nave and ends in an apse, and the walls are reinforced by buttresses. On both sides of the chancel are a treasury and a sacristy. At the front stands a massive tower resembling a keep. The roof and tower are covered with copper sheet, and behind the chancel stands a historic Garden of Olives. The consecration took place in the second half of the 17th century, after another rebuilding.
The furnishings are Baroque and Rococo. The church has three altars: the high altar with a painting of the Virgin Mary and St Nicholas, and side altars of St Anthony and of the Virgin Mary.
