A Baroque church with a domed tower and a painting of the Virgin Mary, according to tradition a gift from Sobieski.
St Nicholas's Church in Przybynów is a Baroque church with brick walls, a domed tower and a copper-sheet roof. The parish in Przybynów has been mentioned in sources since 1306, so the place has a very long tradition of worship.
The first church was wooden and dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul; it is mentioned by Jan Długosz in the “Liber Beneficiorum” of 1470. Around the middle of the 16th century a brick church was built, probably founded by the Myszkowski family, originally in the Renaissance style. In 1770 it was rebuilt in the Baroque style at the expense of Count Adam Męcicki, and it was consecrated in 1777. After a thorough renovation in 1862 the church was consecrated again a year later. In 1911-1912 two bays, arcades, a sacristy and a new domed tower were added.
The most important item is the painting of the Virgin and Child, which according to tradition was donated by King John III Sobieski. The walls and altars used to be decorated with 24 crystal mirrors. In 1849 a fire melted two bells in the tower, and new ones were cast on the spot.
From Przybynów it is close to the shrine in Leśniów, and in Żarki you can visit the Museum of Old Crafts.
