A Neo-Gothic parish church in the Zatorze estate in Gliwice, built with funds from the owner of the nearby steelworks.
The Church of the Holy Family stands in the Zatorze estate in Gliwice and was built for the residents of the estate by the Huldschinsky steelworks. It is a parish church of the Gliwice-Sośnica deanery of the Gliwice diocese.
The foundation stone was blessed on 5 July 1900, and the finished church was blessed on 9 April 1901. The Neo-Gothic building stands on a Greek cross plan. It was designed by the Berlin architect Professor Oertzen, and the presbytery is connected to the church by a passage through the sacristy. The costs were covered entirely by the owner of the steelworks, Oscar Huldschinski, who was of Jewish origin.
At first services were held only on Sundays and holidays, and from 1908 the church was looked after by the parish of St Bartholomew in Gliwice. In 1918 the joint-stock company of the Huldschinsky works handed the church, together with the plot, to the church authorities for perpetual use. A local chaplaincy was established at the church in 1919, and a curacy on 1 April 1924. The consecration of the church by Cardinal Adolf Bertram of Wrocław took place on 3 November 1935. Since 1946 the church and parish have been looked after by priests of the Missionaries of the Holy Family congregation.
