A Gothic-Baroque church with a square tower, a Baroque pulpit shaped like a boat and three altars.
St Wenceslas's Church in Irządze is a brick parish church with a Gothic chancel and a square tower topped with a Baroque turret. Alterations in the 17th and 18th centuries blurred its original character, so the building is today essentially without a single style.
The oldest element is the Gothic chancel. Two side chapels gave the church a cruciform plan, and the church has a single nave with a transept. It acquired its present form through alterations in the 17th and 18th centuries. Documents give a 14th-century date for its beginnings (1329 or 1326; sources differ). On the church grounds stand a cemetery chapel and a historic tombstone.
The high altar, Baroque-Neoclassical from around 1770-1780, holds a late Baroque painting of the Virgin and Child from the early 18th century, and its curtain shows the patron, St Wenceslas. On the sides stand sculptures of angels, St Rosalia, St Barbara and holy bishops. The pulpit has the form of a boat sailing on waves. The polychrome with geometric motifs was made in tempera. The church has three altars.
About 300 metres from the church stands the manor house in Irządze.
