A Neoclassical palace from the 18th century in Gorzyce, built by Count Alexander von Arco, part of a complex with an English park.
The palace in Gorzyce is a Neoclassical building from the 18th century, built by Count Alexander von Arco. The building is of brick and is entered in the heritage register together with the whole palace complex.
The palace is crowned with a tall hipped roof. On the front a projection with a tympanum stands out, and on the garden side the entrance lies under a terrace supported on four Doric columns, preceded by a three-flight staircase.
The palace is part of a complex that also includes a 19th-century English park and a separate hunting lodge from the same century. The complex has been listed in the heritage register since 1989. The history of the site after the time of the first owner is not described here, and the sources say nothing about the present use of the building.
