A palace from 1888 in Rzuchów, with a two-storey tower, a landscape park and a natural monument.
The palace in Rzuchów, a village in Kornowac municipality in Racibórz County, was built in 1888. The heritage register describes it as a manor house, while local tradition calls it a palace. It is surrounded by a landscape park.
The first owner was Heinrich Himml, after whom the estate was taken over by Joachim von Klützow. After the Second World War the building was damaged, and it was renovated by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. For some time it housed a state children's home.
The two-storey building has a yellow-brick façade and windows in surrounds. On the ground floor there are semicircular pediments with stucco in a shell motif, and the entrance is a semicircular portal supported on two columns, with a cartouche bearing the coat of arms of the first owners. The roof has dormers, and the two-storey tower is crowned with a pointed helm. On the garden side a porch and an oriel with a balcony were added.
Many exotic shrubs grow in the park. The only natural monument in Kornowac municipality is a pedunculate oak about 250 years old growing here.
