A Neo-Renaissance town hall from 1870-1872 on the Market Square in Mikołów, still the seat of the City Office.
The town hall stands on the western frontage of Mikołów's Market Square and still serves the function for which it was built: it houses the City Office. It is easy to recognise from outside, because its mass resembles a castle.
The town hall was built in 1870-1872 in the Neo-Renaissance style. The building is entered in the municipal register of monuments.
The town hall is best seen on a walk around the Market Square. A few hundred metres away stands the Basilica of St Adalbert in Mikołów, and on the way one can look in at the Mikołów City Museum Centre.
