A neoclassical town hall from 1836 by the market square in Toszek, rebuilt after war damage and the seat of the town authorities.
The town hall in Toszek stands on the eastern side of the market square and dates from 1836. It is a three-storey neoclassical building with a monumental façade and two corner turrets, entered in the heritage register.
The present building replaced an older town hall from 1767. It is made of brick and plastered, and its gable façade facing the market square stands out for its pair of corner towers. The style of the building is neoclassicism.
During the Second World War the town hall was damaged. It was rebuilt at the end of the 1950s under the supervision of Ireneusz Sławiński. It was entered in the heritage register in 1960.
It is the historic seat of the town authorities, and the building belongs to the Town Office. The interiors are used by the office, so it is visited mainly from the outside, during a walk around the market square.
