Built of red brick in the neo-baroque style, it served the Donnersmarck family as a guest house and rises in a historic park, a work of the early twentieth century. It was designed by Ernst von Ihne, an architect tied to the imperial court in Berlin, and the building was commissioned by Guido Henckel von Donnersmarck.
Within the whole residential complex it is one of the best-preserved buildings, so on the way to a concert you can also look at the building itself and the park.
