A wooden brine graduation tower made of blackthorn branches in Paruszowiec-Piaski, Rybnik, built in 2018 on the site of a former swimming pool.
The brine graduation tower in Rybnik stands in the Paruszowiec-Piaski district, on the site of a former swimming pool. It was built in April 2018 as part of the citizens' budget.
The structure of the graduation tower is made of wood and blackthorn branches, down which the brine trickles. The installation is complemented by shelters protecting from sun and rain and a surface of granite and concrete.
Next to the graduation tower lies a fish pond of 12.4 ha on the Ruda river. A pier by it has been renovated, and footpaths and cycle paths have been built around it.
