Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows in Błędów

The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows is a small stone building in Błędów, in the eastern part of Dąbrowa Górnicza. It was most probably built at the end of the 19th century, and consecrated on 13 July 1919.

Its role in parish life

In 1920-1921 the chapel served as the parish chapel of the parish of the Holy Trinity in Błędów. After the wooden parish church burned down, regular Masses were celebrated in it in 1951-1954. Today, not far away, stands the Church of the Holy Trinity in Błędów.
