History of the construction

The church was built in 1897-1905 as a branch of the parish in Sławków. It was blessed in 1904 by the parish priest of Przeginia, Father Feliks Banasiński. The solemn consecration was performed on 6 October 1957 by Stanisław Czajka, auxiliary bishop of the Częstochowa diocese.
