The Church of Peace in Zabrze is a Neo-Romanesque church of the Evangelical-Augsburg parish, built of brick in 1874. It has one nave and one tower, and since 2005 it has been in the heritage register.
An independent Evangelical parish was established in Zabrze on 1 June 1873; it then had 1367 members. It included the communities of Zabrze, Małe Zabrze, Dorota, Zaborze, Biskupice, Mikulczyce, Maciejów and Sośnica. Construction began in 1873 and was completed in August 1874. The blessing took place on 25 October 1874, when the church was given the dedication of Peace. The ceremony gathered Lutheran clergy and faithful from Zabrze and the surrounding area, and there was also one Roman Catholic priest.
The church was renovated in 2001, and a year later the organ was overhauled.
In the centre of Zabrze lie, among others, the water tower and the House of Music and Dance.
