The Church of St Elizabeth of Hungary stands in Szczakowa, a district of Jaworzno. It is a Neo-Gothic parish church from 1898-1903, entered in the heritage register, built of local limestone and brick.
Work began on 28 June 1898, thanks to the efforts of the faithful and after permits were obtained. The building was consecrated on 8 September 1921 by the then bishop of Kraków, Adam Stefan Sapieha. The church belongs to the Jaworzno deanery of the Diocese of Sosnowiec.
The furnishings were kept in the Neo-Gothic style: the crucifix on the chancel arch, the high altar and two side altars, the pulpit, the font, the Stations of the Cross, the confessionals and the pews. The church also has new stained glass and a Romantic organ with pneumatic action, built in 1898-1903.
