Parish church from 1868-1870 in Kamienica Polska, built with money from the linen weavers' guild.
The Church of St Michael the Archangel is the parish church of Kamienica Polska in Częstochowa County. It was built in the second half of the 19th century with money from the local linen weavers' guild.
Work lasted from 1868 to 1870, and the first blessing was carried out on 28 December 1869 by the dean of Częstochowa, Fr Józef Rzewuski. The money for construction came from the Linen Weavers' Guild, which operated in Kamienica Polska. The church, by then furnished, was consecrated on 20 May 1884 by Bishop Aleksander Bereśniewicz.
In 1945, during the fighting, the church was slightly damaged. It was restored in 1946 by the parish priest, Fr Stanisław Duda. Its furnishings include historic organs and Stations of the Cross.
