A parish church in the Wrzosowiak district of Częstochowa, built from 1987 and consecrated in 2022.
The parish church dedicated to St Ursula Ledóchowska stands in the Wrzosowiak district of Częstochowa, at ulica Władysława Orkana 60/62. It was built over more than twenty years and consecrated only in 2022.
The first parish priest bought the plot for the church and presbytery, and construction began in September 1987. A temporary chapel was put up next to it, in which the first Mass was celebrated on 1 November 1987. The next parish priest took on the completion of the building in 1997. The church was roofed in 1999, and Masses have been celebrated in it since September of that year. It was consecrated by Archbishop Wacław Depo on 29 May 2022.
Two chapels adjoin the church on the east side, a funeral chapel on the north-west, and a sacristy on the north-east. To the north-east of the church stand the presbytery and a community room. Paintings by Dariusz Słota hang inside.
The centre of Częstochowa is a few kilometres from here. The closest site, about 700 metres away, is the John Paul II Museum of Coins and Medals, and further on is Jasna Góra.
