A Lutheran church from a former cemetery chapel of 1883-1892, extended in 1991.
The Church of Sts Peter and Paul the Apostles in Zamarski, in the Hażlach municipality, belongs to the Lutheran (Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession) Parish in Cieszyn. It grew out of a cemetery chapel and is today a place of worship where services are held every Sunday and on holidays.
The Lutheran school in Zamarski was founded in 1808, the cemetery in 1880, and the cemetery chapel was built in 1883-1892. It was converted into a church, which was consecrated in 1970 by Bishop Andrzej Wantuła. After the extension the church was consecrated again on 16 June 1991 by Bishop Jan Szarek. The bells were hung in 1922 and replaced with new ones in 1959. The church has an electronic organ, and the bells are automatically controlled.
