A parish church of 1906-1907, extended in 1933 with a transept and chancel, consecrated in 1935.
The Church of the Holy Cross in Racibórz stands on Studzienna and is a parish church with a single tower. It was built in 1906-1907 as a church dedicated to St John of Nepomuk, and it has borne its present dedication since 1935.
Earlier, the residents of this part of the town belonged to the parish of St Nicholas (the Church of St Nicholas in Racibórz). The local chaplaincy was established in 1918, and the first parish priest was Fr Franciszek Melzer (1918-1972). The independent parish was created on 1 May 1929.
In 1933 the church was extended with a transept and chancel. The consecration under the dedication of the Holy Cross took place on 12 May 1935. The building is entered in the municipal register of monuments.
