A parish church in the Czarny Las district of Ruda Śląska, built in 1937-1938 to a design by Jan Affa.
The Church of the Holy Spirit stands in Czarny Las, a district of Ruda Śląska, on ulica Cynkowa. It is the church of the Holy Spirit parish in Czarny Las, which belongs to the Ruda Śląska deanery. It was built just before the Second World War.
The design of the church was prepared by Jan Affa in 1936. Construction began in 1937, and in 1938 the church was ready. It was consecrated by the auxiliary bishop Juliusz Bieniek. The church has a Latin cross plan, and its three-nave interior with a chancel has a pseudo-basilica layout. Inside there are three altars.
The building is on the municipal register of monuments of Ruda Śląska. Of the sites described on the portal, the nearest is the Museum of the History of the Polish People's Republic in Ruda Śląska, about two kilometres as the crow flies.
