A brick parish church from 1930-1938 in Jaworzno-Byczyna, designed by Józef Gałęzowski.
The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus stands in the Jaworzno district of Byczyna, on Kościelna Street. It is a brick church with a single nave, three altars and a single tower.
The design was made by the Kraków architect Józef Gałęzowski. The foundation stone was blessed on 8 September 1930 by Cardinal Adam Stefan Sapieha, and in 1931 construction of the presbytery began. The parish was established in 1933. The roof was laid in October 1938, and in November of that year the first service with the full community took place. Two bells were hung and blessed in 1950.
Construction lasted from 1930 to 1938, but the consecration took place only on 6 December 1983; the church was consecrated by Cardinal Franciszek Macharski.
