A little palace from before 1883 in Dąbrowa Górnicza, the seat of the Gestapo during the war, renovated on the outside in 2008.
Dezon's Little Palace (Pałacyk Dezona) stands in Dąbrowa Górnicza next to the City Centre Park (Park Śródmiejski). It was built before 1883 for the wife of the director of the Franco-Italian Society, which ran industry in the town.
The little palace was put up by the director of the Franco-Italian Society in Dąbrowa Górnicza, who intended it for his wife. During the Second World War it housed the seat of the Gestapo. After the war a militia station was set up here, and later a police station. In 2007 the building was damaged by fire, and in 2008 it was renovated on the outside and given a new roof covering.
Closest, about 300 m away, stands the Basin Palace of Culture, and less than a kilometre from here is the "Sztygarka" City Museum.
