A Jewish cemetery (kirkut) from the late 17th century on Szkolna Street, with about 200 gravestones and four oak natural monuments.
The Jewish cemetery in Wielowieś is a kirkut on Szkolna Street, about 1.3 km south of the village centre. It lies among fields, covers 0.3 ha and has preserved about 200 gravestones.
The cemetery was founded in the late 17th century. The oldest surviving gravestone is the matzevah of Jonathan Bloch, founder of the Jewish community in Wielowieś. His son Hirsch initiated work on fencing the cemetery in 1749. A pre-war survey still listed an older matzevah from 1702, which no longer exists. Of the fence only the gateposts survived.
Four trees protected as natural monuments grow on the kirkut. They bear the names Jonathan, Beracha, King David and King Solomon. The overgrown and neglected cemetery was cleared and tidied by a local history teacher with the help of pupils and residents.
Also in the area is the church in Wojska, about 3 km further on.
