A twin-towered parish church in Czernica, built in 1948-1953, with a monument to the Silesian insurgents.
The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Poland, stands in Czernica, a village in Gaszowice municipality. It is a twin-towered parish church built in the first years after the Second World War.
Until 1945 Czernica belonged to the parish in Pstrążna. From 15 August 1945 Masses were celebrated in a temporary chapel set up in a converted inn. The permanent church was built in 1948-1953, and the consecration took place on 3 May 1953.
A monument to the Silesian insurgents stands by the church.
