A filial church from the early 1990s, with a foundation stone blessed by John Paul II in 1991.
St Anthony of Padua's Church in Cisie is a filial church of the parish of St Michael the Archangel in Blachownia. It was built in the early 1990s.
In 1991 the Bishop of Częstochowa, Stanisław Nowak, blessed the site with the foundations. The foundation stone was blessed by John Paul II during World Youth Day at Jasna Góra on 15 August 1991, and was laid on 13 November that year by Auxiliary Bishop Miłosław Kołodziejczyk. In 1999 a figure of St Anthony 240 cm high and a tabernacle were consecrated. The church was consecrated on 11 June 2000.
Closest lies Blachownia Reservoir, and in Blachownia itself the Church of the Most Holy Saviour.
