A Baroque-Neoclassical brick church from 1807-1810, rebuilt after being blown up in 1945.
St Martin's Church in Ochaby is a brick Baroque-Neoclassical church from 1807-1810, with a single nave and one tower. It stands on św. Marcina Street in the Skoczów municipality, on the Vistula.
The first mention of a church in Ochaby dates from 1447. During the Reformation it was taken over by the Lutherans, and in 1654 a special commission returned it to the Catholics. It was threatened by floods, so in 1687 a new, wooden church was built slightly higher up. The present brick one was built in 1807-1810 on the site of the demolished wooden one. In April 1945 German troops blew up the building, and it was rebuilt in 1946-1948 together with the tower.
The church has three altars. The main one holds a painting of St Martin, the side ones paintings of St Joseph and Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The interior was renovated in 2007.
