The chapel of the Lutheran parish in Czechowice-Dziedzice, consecrated in 1911.
The Lutheran chapel in Czechowice-Dziedzice is a place of worship of the Lutheran (Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession) parish, consecrated on 17 December 1911.
The congregation grew out of German-speaking workers who came in connection with the building of the railway and industry at the end of the 19th century. The first service was held in 1896 as a branch of the Bielsko parish. In 1907 people met in a hired restaurant room. Construction of their own chapel began in 1910 on land donated by Leon Zipser.
During the Second World War shelling destroyed windows and walls, and the building was looted. Rebuilding was made possible by donations from neighbouring parishes and residents. Regular services were resumed on 29 July 1949, and in 1969 the congregation became an independent parish.
