A Lutheran church in Kisielów, extended in 1986 from a cemetery chapel consecrated in 1914.
The Lutheran church in Kisielów, a village in Goleszów municipality in Cieszyn County, grew out of a cemetery chapel. It belongs to the Evangelical-Augsburg parish in Goleszów.
In 1911 the owner of the village donated land for a cemetery. The first burial took place in 1912, and in 1914 a chapel was consecrated, which at first served as a funeral home, that is, a place where the dead were kept before burial. The building had a tower with two bells.
Regular services began to be held after 1960, and in 1986 the chapel was extended to the size of a church. It remains next to the cemetery, and a visit to the area can be combined with Dzięgielów Castle.
