A fortified Late Renaissance manor house from around 1605 in a park in Bzie, today housing a nursery school and a health centre.
The fortified manor house in Bzie, today within the boundaries of Jastrzębie-Zdrój, is a historic monument from the early 17th century. It was built around 1605 in the Late Renaissance style. It stands at Klubowa 2, surrounded by a landscape park.
Until 1714 the manor belonged to the Rostek family, then until 1891 to the Skrzebeński family. From 1892 to 1945 the owners were Wilhelm and then Fryderyk Thau. In March 1945 the northern part of the building was damaged. Reconstruction was carried out from 1958 under the supervision of the provincial conservator of monuments, and in 2009 the building was thoroughly modernised.
In the park grows a pedunculate oak about three hundred years old, with a girth of 470 cm. The manor is entered in the heritage register. Since 1967 it has housed a health centre, and since the modernisation also a nursery school, so the interiors are not open to visitors. Nearby lies the Spa Park in Jastrzębie-Zdrój.
