A Neoclassical manor house from the mid-19th century in Skrzydłów, linked to the Reszke family, abandoned today.
The manor house in Skrzydłów is a Neoclassical two-storey residence from the mid-19th century, entered in the heritage register. Today it stands abandoned and the surrounding park has become overgrown.
The manor house was built in the mid-19th century in the Neoclassical style. It has two storeys, and the entrance is adorned with four Tuscan columns. The building is entered in the heritage register under number 749 (decision of 27 December 1967).
In 1898 an estate in this area was acquired by Jan, Edward and Józefina Reszke, well-known opera singers. After the Second World War a state stud farm operated in Skrzydłów, breeding Anglo-Arabian and Małopolska horses. The stud farm ended its activity in 1999.
The park was laid out in 1897 to a design by Walery Kronenberg. A yellow birch grows in it, recognised as a natural monument. According to the state described in 2019, the park was overgrown and the manor house was deteriorating; the wooden administrative building burned down in August 2014.
Not far away, about 2 km, lies the Kłobukowice palace and park complex, and a little further the Manor House in Rzerzęczyce.
