A closed military cemetery from 1921 with the graves of soldiers from 1921-1945 and three monuments.
The military cemetery in Bielsko-Biała, at Saperów 24, in the southern part of the Wojska Polskiego estate, was founded in 1921. It is a closed necropolis: the last burial took place here in 1945.
Buried here are soldiers who died in 1921-1939, those killed in the September 1939 campaign, including the battle of Węgierska Górka, and those killed in 1945. Scouts who died during the Second World War also rest here. The main plots contain 53 individual graves, in addition to collective graves.
There are three monuments in the cemetery: a general soldiers' monument, a monument to the victims of the Katyn massacre from Bielsko-Biała and the surrounding area, and a monument to Home Army soldiers.
