A steel monument to Marshal Ferdinand Foch from 2021 on a roundabout in Knurów, 2.5 metres high.
The monument to Marshal Ferdinand Foch stands on the roundabout at the junction of Szpitalna and Kosmonautów streets in Knurów. It was unveiled in 2021.
The 1:1 scale sculpture shows the marshal in uniform, with a sabre at his left side and a baton in his right hand. It is made of galvanised steel, is 2.5 metres high and stands on a plinth with the inscription “MARSZAŁEK FERDYNAND FOCH”. The author is the “Stalowe Anioły” Applied Art Gallery.
The monument's patron is also the patron of the Foch shaft at the Knurów-Szczygłowice mine. The idea of the sculpture arose during the rebuilding of the streets around the roundabout.
