A cemetery from 1925 in Dzięgielów with a section for deaconesses and a chapel at the end of the avenue.
The municipal cemetery in Dzięgielów lies on Cieszyńska Street and is managed by Goleszów municipality. It was founded in 1925 as a Lutheran cemetery, when the number of burials rose after a care home for the elderly opened in the village.
An avenue divides the necropolis into two parts: Lutheran and Catholic. At its end stands a chapel. In a separate plot lie the deaconesses of the local Eben-Ezer Deaconate, and their gravestones carry biographical information and biblical quotations. Buried here are, among others, Danuta Gerke (1909-1997), the head of the deaconate, and the lawyer Zofia Kulejewska (1928-2011). The cemetery is listed in the municipal register of monuments.
Not far away, about 1.2 km, stands Dzięgielów Castle.
