The Municipal Museum in Bieruń is a cultural institution based at Rynek 14 that documents and presents the heritage of Bieruń and its surroundings. It was established by a resolution of the town council on 30 August 2018.

Collections and activities

The museum's website describes the institution as one still being organised, which is building up its collections. They are divided into four groups: historical items, ethnographic objects, photographs and works of art. The first exhibition, opened on 18 August 2019, showed the residents of Bieruń in photographs by Father Mateusz Bielok from the early 20th century. The museum also runs historical walks and educational activities and publishes books, including the comic "Utopcowe Story. Rajza po historii Bierunia".
