A Baroque church from 1683 with the Rosary chapel, since 1986 the shrine of Our Lady of Mrzygłód.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Mrzygłód in Myszków is the oldest church in the town, located in the Mrzygłód district. The brick church was built in 1683 by the Castellan of Kraków Stanisław Warszycki, on the site of an earlier wooden one.
The single-nave, oriented church with a semicircularly closed chancel combines features of the Renaissance and the Baroque. In 1712-1736 the chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary was added on the north side, on a rectangular plan with chamfered corners, covered with a dome with a lantern. In the 19th century the church was damaged by fire, and it was renovated in the early 20th century.
The main altar and the three side ones are Baroque, with Rococo forms. A Baroque font, an organ from the early 18th century, and pewter candlesticks and chasubles from the 17th century have survived. The present picture of Our Lady was painted in 1804 by Ciszewski, court painter of the starost of Sokolniki, replacing an older image that probably burned. In 1986 the bishop renewed the cult and declared the church the shrine of Our Lady of Mrzygłód.
