A brick synagogue of 1896 in Sławków, after the war a community centre, today a warehouse, with a commemorative plaque.
The synagogue in Sławków is a brick building of 1896 at ul. Biskupia 10. The former house of prayer has survived to this day, but has long ceased to serve a religious function.
The synagogue was built of red brick on a rectangular plan, in the Orthodox tradition. The main prayer hall was in the eastern part of the building. In the western part were a vestibule and the community office, and on the upper floor a women's gallery. During the German occupation the building was devastated and used as a warehouse. After the war it housed the municipal community centre for a time, and today it serves as a warehouse.
On the wall there is a plaque in Polish and Hebrew, recalling that until the German occupation this building housed a synagogue. The building is best viewed from the outside, reading the plaque. Nearby, about 200 metres away, is the Regional Museum in Sławków.
