Ochojec Trail

The Ochojec Trail (Szlak Ochojski) is a black walking trail leading from Ochojec in Katowice to Lędziny. Its length is given as 18.1 km, while map data give about 16.9 km; it is managed by the PTTK. The route was significantly modified in 2000, when it was extended to Lędziny.

Route

The trail begins in Ochojec, reached from the Katowice Ochojec railway station. It runs along the Ochojec floristic reserve, through the Murcki Forests (Siągarnia), the Płone Bagno ecological site and Kamienna Góra in Katowice, and ends in Lędziny, in Zamość, by a monument. Nearby lies the Murcki Forest nature reserve.
