Cycle route 13Z (Ustroń - Jastrzębie-Zdrój - Rybnik)

Cycle route 13Z is a green waymarked route from Ustroń to Rybnik. It is one of the main cycle routes of Upper Silesia, and its length is given as 82 km.

Route

The route starts in Ustroń and then leads through Cisownica, Dzięgielów, Bażanowice, Ogrodzona, Gumna, Zamarski, Hażlach and Kończyce Wielkie. It then passes Kończyce Małe and Zebrzydowice, enters Jastrzębie-Zdrój and ends in Rybnik, passing through Świerklany Dolne and Jankowice Rybnickie on the way. Near Kończyce Małe stands a castle, and in Zebrzydowice a palace.

Terrain

The route crosses the Silesian Foothills, the Kończyce Plateau and the Rybnik Plateau. In several places it joins the international EuroVelo R4 route and the Greenways Kraków - Moravia - Vienna route, so it is suitable as a section of a longer trip.
