Technical Education Centre in Goczałkowice-Zdrój

The Technical Education Centre is an educational park at the entrance to the dam of Goczałkowice Lake, at Jeziorna 87 in Goczałkowice-Zdrój. The exhibition is built around four themes: meteorology, astronomy, the dam and renewable energy.

What you can see and try

The exhibits are interactive. There are models of a hydroelectric power plant and a nuclear reactor, and in the section on weather and water a laboratory where you can examine the composition of water and atmospheric conditions. The astronomy section shows models of space rockets and a lunar rover, and children can put on an astronaut's suit.

The site works well as part of a walk by Goczałkowice Lake, whose dam is the subject of part of the exhibition. In the same area lies Pszczyna, with Pszczyna Castle.
