A Baroque-Classicist palace from around 1756 with a coach house, a granary and the remains of a park.
The palace in Zbrosławice, described in the heritage register as a castle, is a two-storey building of stone and brick from the 18th century, standing on Zamkowa Street. It was built around 1756 for the von Stockmann family, possibly on the site of an older building from the 16th or 17th century.
The building was constructed in the late Baroque style, later rebuilt, and today represents Classicism. It is a plastered, two-storey block on a rectangular plan, with an annexe and a mansard roof. In the cellars barrel vaults with lunettes have survived, and a coach house adjoins the palace. Around it remains of a park with a black poplar and farm buildings have survived, including a granary from the first half of the 19th century.
After the war the palace passed to the State Treasury; the municipality used it for the needs of a production cooperative, and later municipal flats were set up in it. In 1998 it was handed to a private person as compensation for property lost beyond the River Bug, and around 2016 it changed owner. For years it was not renovated and it is in poor technical condition.
Closest, less than two kilometres from here, is the Adventure and Attractions Park. It is about seven kilometres to Tarnowskie Góry, where the Silver Mine in Tarnowskie Góry and the Royal Fryderyk Mine await.
