Cabaret in Zabrze means a dozen dates in the calendar, from the large hall of the Dom Muzyki i Tańca to small evenings in clubs and restaurants.

The calendar most often lists the Dom Muzyki i Tańca (House of Music and Dance) on de Gaulle street and the Oficyna venue. Single dates also appear at the Miejski Ośrodek Kultury (the municipal culture centre), at Scena Cocktail Bar and at Restauracja Kameralna. So the choice runs from a huge auditorium to an evening at small tables.
Zygmunt Majerski and Julian Duchowicz drew up the plans for this late-1950s block. Its auditorium has close to two thousand places, and the sound there is described as very good. For a cabaret programme that means a broad, comfortable room; more about the building is on its own page.
Oficyna appears in the calendar several times, Scena Cocktail Bar and Restauracja Kameralna less often. What these places stage is set by the current calendar, so open the page of a given date before you go out. The Miejski Ośrodek Kultury is one more address that adds the odd show to the list.
