Ski resort in Szczyrk-Biła with a six-seat chairlift, two button lifts and four downhill runs.
Beskid Sport Arena is a ski resort in Szczyrk-Biła, on the north-eastern slope of Beskid in the Silesian Beskids. The resort's website stresses that it is smaller than the other slopes in Szczyrk, which means shorter queues.
The resort has a chairlift and two button lifts. The "Beskid" chairlift is a six-seat detachable lift, 750 m long, with a 240 m vertical drop and a capacity of 2,200 people per hour.
The "Sportowy" lift is 270 m long with a 90 m vertical drop, and "Widokowy" is 200 m long with a 20 m vertical drop. Four downhill runs start from the top station of the chairlift.
Along the "Sportowy" lift, on part of run no. 2, a 220 m sports zone has been marked out.
On site there are a ski and snowboard rental and service shop, a ski school with instructors licensed by SITN PZN under the patronage of SITS, and a restaurant. On the upper meadow, by the "Widokowy" lift, there is a winter playground for children.
The resort's website also mentions floodlighting for evening skiing, online cameras and a rental of mountain and electric bikes. The resort holds the "Safe Slopes" safety certificate awarded by the Safe Slopes Foundation and belongs to a shared ski pass scheme with the Central Sports Centre on Skrzyczne and the Szczyrk Ski Resort.
For many years this slope was served by a T-bar lift with two runs, a red one and a blue one. The chairlift was opened on 27 December 2016.
The resort has views of the Beskid peaks, and trail points lie close by: the summit of Klimczok, about 2 km away, and the PTTK mountain hut on it.
Not far away stands Uncle Tom's Cabin, and about 2.5 km from the resort lies the Skalite ski jump complex.
