A listed ice rink hall in the Spodek complex, modernist, with public skating sessions and ice hockey matches.
Satelita is the ice rink hall building next to Spodek in Katowice, entered in the heritage register as part of the entertainment and sports hall complex.
According to the heritage register the building dates from 1964-1971, is made of reinforced concrete and is modernist, and its function is given as an entertainment and sports hall. It stands in the Spodek complex on Korfantego Avenue, not far from the International Congress Centre.
The hall has an ice rink where public skating sessions are held. It is also used for training and ice hockey matches. Entry to public sessions is through the blue entrance, and tickets can be bought at the venue's ticket offices before a session or online.
