PTTK mountain hut in a former forester's lodge on the slope of Trzonka in the Little Beskids, about 25 beds.
The “Limba” Mountain Tourism Club Hut is a mountain hut in the Andrychów Beskids, in the eastern part of the Little Beskids. It stands on the slope of Trzonka in the village of Porąbka, near the Bukowska Pass.
The building is a former forester's lodge of the Andrychów Forest District. It was adapted as a hut by the “Limba” Mountain Tourism Club of the PTTK works branch at the Andropol factory in Andrychów.
The hut has about 25 beds in two multi-person dormitories heated by tiled stoves, and a kitchen. There is electricity but no running water, which is drawn from a well. The toilet is outside the building.
Duty rotas run at weekends from the beginning of May to the end of October, and outside that period by arrangement. The hut lies about 70 m from the trail and is hidden by trees, so look for the “Chatka” sign and the path leading off the trail. Nearby run the trail from Porąbka via Bukowski Groń, Trzonka and the Bukowska Pass towards the Kocierska Pass, and the trail from the Bukowska Pass to Targanice and Rzyki-Praciaki.
The area belongs to the Little Beskids Landscape Park, and nearby are Lake Czaniec and the ruins of Wołek Castle.
