A Neo-Gothic parish church from 1869-1872 in Ruda Śląska, founded by Count von Ballestrem.
The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary is a Neo-Gothic parish church in the Ruda district of Ruda Śląska, built in 1869-1872. It stands on Kościelna Street and is listed in the heritage register.
The design was prepared by the Gliwice builder Wachtel, and the church was founded by Count Karl Wolfgang von Ballestrem. The building is made of stone masonry, kept in Neo-Gothic forms and, which sets it apart from many churches of the region, it has no tower. It consists of a vestibule, a nave and a chancel. The windows contain stained glass made by the Wrocław artist A. Rende.
Visitors to the area are drawn above all by the industrial past of the city, for example the Guido Historic Coal Mine in Zabrze, about 5 km away.
