Brick parish church with two towers in Mysłowice's Krasowy district, blessed in 1919.
The Church of St Joseph stands in Mysłowice's Krasowy district, on ul. PCK. It is a brick church with two towers, blessed in 1919.
Preparations for building lasted fifteen years, from 1903 to 1918. The church was blessed under the title of the Patronage of St Joseph on 15 October 1919. It was extended in 1924-1925 and again in 1978.
The church has one nave with a transept and three altars. The high altar was bought in 1920 from the Katowice firm Bisqua, and the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary was made in 1921. There is a music gallery, and the organ has fifteen stops, two manuals and a pedalboard. The building is in the municipal register of monuments of Mysłowice.
Krasowy borders Katowice. Not far away lies Giszowiec, and in Mysłowice you can see the Three Emperors' Corner.
