A Neo-Gothic brick parish church in Bielszowice, completed in 1883 to a design by architects from Gliwice.
A Neo-Gothic brick church stands on Edmunda Kokota Street in Bielszowice, a district of Ruda Śląska. It has a single nave and a single tower, and was completed in 1883. It belongs to the Archdiocese of Katowice and is entered in the heritage register.
The church was built through the efforts of the parish priest of Bielszowice, Father Jan Hruby, and was designed by Phillip and Traufeld of Gliwice. The consecration took place at the end of October 1883. The building is of brick and in the Neo-Gothic style.
At the entrance stands a figure of St Joseph, and beside the church a figure of St John of Nepomuk, placed here in 1943. It probably dates from 1744.
It is less than four kilometres from here to the Guido Coal Mine in Zabrze, and a little over two to the Museum of the History of People's Poland.
