A parish church in Częstochowa's Wrzosowiak, under construction since 1999 to a design by Włodzimierz and Ziemowit Domagała.
The Church of St Raphael Kalinowski stands in Częstochowa's Wrzosowiak district and is a parish church dedicated to this saint. It is a new building: the foundation stone was blessed by John Paul II in 1991, and construction began in 1999.
The building was designed by Włodzimierz and Ziemowit Domagała. The first service was held in it on Christmas Eve 2000, and the solemn consecration was carried out on 26 June 2010 by Archbishop Stanisław Nowak. The liturgical furnishings are arranged here in the spirit of Neocatechumenal formation, as proposed by the architect Maurizio Bergamo.
